Having gone ahead with the almost full remodel of our 1920's house and loving the results we are starting to think build our own. I have fallen in love with the french style mansions more than anything.
Looking at backsplashes I have become particulerly fond of the herringbone pattern. Combining old world charm with some interest to the walls this is definetly what I will have in my kitchen.
